We are honored to share that our new Bluetooth® 5.0 and AI DeNoise hearing aids, Orka One has been named a CES® 2021 Innovation Awards Honoree, under the Health & Wellness category. Orka is determined to eliminate the barriers that prevent people with hearing loss from using hearing aids. This win marks a significant milestone for Orka towards that goal.
Orka One is a FDA-registered Class II 510K exempt medical device designed to be rechargeable and enabled with Bluetooth® 5.0 for music streaming and hands-free calls. It is also the world's first hearing aid powered by proprietary AI DeNoise technology that runs a server-level neural network on a compact mobile chip to automatically identify noise, filter it out, and improve speech understanding in real-time. Combined with a complete over-the-air care service, Orka ensures that customers have a high-quality purchasing and hearing experience throughout their journey with our brand.
Driven by the core value of human-centered healthcare, Orka re-invents hearing aids taking into consideration how to fulfill the various needs of our clients, ranging from aesthetics to compatibility. "I am honored to lead this great team to bring together design and technology to solve the challenges of hearing loss." said Ben Sun, CEO of Orka. "The negative stigma associated with hearing aids deters people from seeking treatment. At Orka, we would never trade on the idea that hearing loss is shameful, thus hearing aids should be hidden. We want to change the discussion around that through better design and user experience."
